Leaving on a Jet Plane!

I'm almost packed and ready to go - I leave Ottawa on February 3rd, bright and early and arrive in Vancouver at 10:00 a.m. their time...Courtney also arrives from Australia on the 3rd, so I pretty excited about that also...there will definitely be lots of hugging going on around 6:00 p.m.!!!!!

I get my uniform and accreditation on the 4th and then my first shift is the 7th....on the 10th we get to attend the dress rehearsal of the opening ceremonies and on the 15th we have tickets for one of the medal ceremony events.

Stay tuned...hopefully I'll be able to relay to all of you an account of all the fun I am having...although from what I've been told, busy is the word of the day and tired is not far behind it...
